AutoPay FAQ


What is AutoPay?

AutoPay is a feature that allows recurring monthly payments for your Tennis and Fitness Centre account. We'll automatically withdraw your payment every month, using your preferred payment method - bank account or credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card). For many of you, this was how your membership fees were handled in the past.

What are the benefits of using AutoPay?

AutoPay saves you time and helps free you from worry about late payments. AutoPay automatically charges all items left unpaid at the end of each month to the bank account or credit card on file.

How do I set up AutoPay?

AutoPay will be enabled automatically. Please stop by the Front Desk or go online to the Member Portal and verify the email address on file and the bank account or credit card on file. Online, it’s under View My Info > Billing Info > Edit > House Charge > Credit Card/Bank Account.

When will my first AutoPay payment take place?

AutoPay will be automatically enabled for all accounts starting November 1st, 2019. Your first payment will be charged on the 8th of the month along with your membership fees.

How will AutoPay work?

Monthly statements are automatically emailed on the 1st of each month. They are sent to the email address on file. The statement will tell you the dollar amount that will be charged to your bank account or credit card.

 

Bank Accounts

A request is sent to your bank on the 8th of each month, funds are received and posted to your TFC account on the 14th.

 
 

Credit Cards

A charge is processed on the 8th of each month to your credit card, payment shows immediately in your account.

 

Can I make a one-time payment, even if I’m set up for AutoPay?

Yes, you can make payments virtually anytime, even if you're set up for AutoPay.

Note: If you accidentally overpay your bill, the credit will remain in your account for future use and will decrease the next withdrawal.

How do I change my AutoPay payment method?

You can add or update your AutoPay payment method at the Front Desk or online through the Member Portal. Online, it’s under View My Info > Billing Info > Edit > House Charge > Credit Card.

I would prefer not to use AutoPay. What can I do?

The Tennis and Fitness Centre now requires a method of payment on file for all accounts. Your bank account or credit card will never be automatically charged if your statement balance has been paid in full before end-of-day on the 7th of the month.

Note: If you accidentally overpay your bill, the credit will remain in your account for future use and will decrease the next withdrawal.

What about disputes?

Submit your dispute within 20 days of the transaction first appearing on your statement. Disputes must be made in writing to PollyG or KateU. This means that the charge must have occurred this month or last month, not 5 months ago. The more details you provide, the quicker your dispute may be resolved. In many cases, your dispute may impact the bills of other members and/or the pay for our Tennis Pros and Personal Trainers. Letting us know right away if a mistake has been made allows us make adjustments in a timely manner.
